OPTIMUM BREATH

Your breath is a Powerful tool. Let’s explore how we use it.

We are all breathwork specialists, as we all practice breathing all day, everyday.

Your breath is constantly changing. It’s different when you're stressed, exercising, concentrating, recovering, sleeping or simply going about your day.

Optimum Breath helps you understand your breath, learn to notice those changes and develop practical tools you can use in real life.

1:1 sessions | Groups | Corporate

Your breath is with you every minute of every day. The more you understand it, the more you can work with it.

Optimum breath is about learning to notice your breathing, understand what’s happening and develop a simple toolkit of practices you can actually use to:

Regulate
Learn breathing practices that can help you shift towards a calmer, more settled state and build your window of capacity.

Focus
Use your breath as a tool to create clarity and awareness when life gets busy.

Perform
Explore the relationship between breathing, movement and physical performance.

Recover
Use breath as part of your recovery, relaxation and transition into rest and nervous system regulation.

1:1 Breathwork with Mike

This is your breath, your goals and your practice.

No two people breathe the same way.

And no two people come to breathwork for exactly the same reason.

Our sessions start with understanding you, your lifestyle, your goals, your current breathing habits and what you'd like to explore.

From there, we'll build a practice around you.

We might explore:

Breathing mechanics
How you're breathing and how efficiently you're breathing.

Nasal breathing
Developing awareness and comfort with nasal breathing.

Down-regulation
Using breath to help shift towards a calmer state.

Energy & focus
Exploring breathing practices that can help you feel more alert and focused.

Movement & performance
Understanding the relationship between breathing and movement.

Recovery
Using breath as part of your recovery and wind-down routine.

Conscious connected breathwork
Exploring deeper breathwork practices when appropriate.

Your own toolkit
Leaving with practical techniques you understand and can use yourself.

What a Session May Feel Like

This isn't another thing to add to your to-do list.

Your sessions aren't about giving you another complicated routine to maintain.

They're about giving you a better understanding of something you're already doing thousands of times a day.

You might spend part of a session talking and learning, part practising, part simply noticing.

Some sessions may feel calming. Others may be more energising or exploratory.

There's no performance. No expectation to get it "right".

We start where you are.

My approach is about helping you understand the different tools available to you and teaching you when they're useful, when they're not, and how to practise them safely.

Breathwork can be powerful when experienced collectively.

I offer guided sessions for:

Private groups | Events | Retreats | Gyms | Wellness spaces | Communities

Sessions can be tailored around:

  • Relaxation & regulation

  • Energy & focus

  • Recovery

  • Movement

  • Connection

  • Deeper breathwork experiences

Online or in person.

Breathe together.

Breathwork for better working days.

Work can be demanding.

Deadlines. Meetings. Screens. Notifications. Constant switching between tasks.

Your team doesn't necessarily need another wellbeing initiative.

They might just need a simple tool they can actually use.

Breathwork gives people a practical way to pause, reset and become more aware of how they're responding to the demands of their day.

Available as:

TEAM WORKSHOPS
30–90 minute practical sessions.

REGULAR TEAM SESSIONS
Short guided sessions designed to help teams reset.

BESPOKE PROGRAMMES
A series of sessions built around your organisation or event.

Online or in person.

I've always been interested in how we can feel, move and perform better without making life unnecessarily complicated.

My work brings together movement, breathwork, recovery and the simple practices that help us feel more connected to ourselves and better able to regulate our nervous system.

I'm a fully qualified breathwork facilitator through Breathwork Mastery with Jamie Clements and James Dowler, and my approach is grounded in education, exploration and practical application.

I'm less interested in telling you what you should do and more interested in helping you understand your own body and breath.

Because ultimately, the goal isn't to depend on a breathwork session.

It's to leave with tools you can use yourself in everyday day to help you return to your Optimum

FAQs

Do I need any previous breathwork experience?

No. Sessions are suitable for complete beginners.

What happens during a 1:1 session?

We'll usually begin with a conversation about how you're currently breathing and what you'd like to work on, followed by relevant education and guided practices.

Are sessions online?

Yes. 1:1 sessions are currently delivered online.

How many sessions do I need?

You don't need to commit to a programme. You can start with a single session. If you'd like to develop your practice further, the four-session journey provides more space to explore and integrate the work.

Is breathwork safe?

Breathwork is generally suitable for many people, but certain practices aren't appropriate for everyone. We'll discuss your circumstances before practising and adapt the session accordingly.

What's the difference between breathwork and meditation?

Meditation often involves observing the mind or breath without trying to change it. Breathwork involves intentionally changing your breathing pattern to explore different physical and mental states.

Curious about your breath?

You don't need to know exactly what you're looking for.
